Can I get a sample before I order?

Absolutely! We offer Poker Chip Sample Packs which include pre-made chips of all types so that you can see all of our offerings in once place.

Additionally, you can order a single customized sample/prototype of any of our products.

Can I add QR codes to my poker chips?

Yes. QR codes can be added directly to your chip design using the designer. Simply upload your QR code and position it as needed.

For best results, keep the code clear, high-contrast, and properly sized so it scans reliably on a small surface.

If your goal is tracking, organization, or assigning unique identifiers, that’s handled through VDP (Variable Data Printing).

How do I Reorder?

You can Reorder any chip in My Account > Orders . Find the ordered item and click Reorder link. You can update the design before you Reorder.

Can I add "numbering" to my poker chips?

Yes. Variable Data Printing (VDP) lets you add things like numbers or custom codes to each chip in your order—while keeping the overall design the same.

So instead of every chip being identical, small details (like a number or ID) can change from one piece to the next based on a spreadsheet you provide.

It’s a simple way to create organized, trackable sets of chips for things like events, rewards, or internal systems—without changing your main design.

What is your minimum order?

You can order a single fully customized sample of almost any chip/product on our site. Additionally, there is a 25 chip minimum for production-level pricing for almost all products.

Do you offer bulk pricing for large orders?

Yes. It's usually much cheaper to order at least 100 customized poker chips from us at any given time and there are several breakpoints beyond 100 chips. Importantly, you can mix & match colors/styles/designs as much as you want and still get Bulk Pricing based on the Total Ordered. So, for example, if you're ordering Composite Poker Chips you can order 50 of say the Blue / 8 Spot and 50 of the Red / Solid pattern and still get the bulk discount for 100 Total Ordered.

What is your return policy?

We'll do whatever it takes to make sure you're happy. Exchange, credit or refund is guaranteed for all orders. We want you to love your chips. If you are not satisfied for any reason with any chips that you purchase you may return your purchase for a replacement, credit or refund until within 30 days of receipt.

In the unfortunate event that a Super Rush order has been delivered after the estimated delivery date, we will refund you the shipping charges. Please allow up to 8 business days for the payment to be reversed on your card. If a Standard shipping delay happens or a normal Rush shipping delay happens we will NOT refund that because it happens all the time and there simply is not much we can do to avoid a FedEx or UPS delayed package delivery. We do, however, guaranteed that we will hand over your package to FedEx or UPS for Rush shipments on the date that is shown in Checkout.

How is price determined for custom orders?

We offer simple straight forward prices. We do not charge artwork fees or setup fees. What you see on the website is what you pay.

We do offer Super Rush and Rush shipping, but Normal shipping is free if your order is over $49.

We offer Bulk Discounts as well -- the more chips you buy at any given time, the lower the price per chip.

How can I get help with my design?

Designing online using our templates and 'chiplab' software is always free. That said, we do have staff available to help upload artwork, add/edit text, etc.. If you'd like help, please Contact Us and we'll help.

My QR code doesn’t scan! What can I do?

We try and scan every code

If your QR code scans fine when it's on the screen, but not when it was printed we probably just need to make it a bit bigger. We will do this reprint for free. We make a lot of chips with QR codes so the operators actually scan the chips to make sure they work before we ship them.

> .8 inches is the sweet spot

Some phones scan really small QR codes fine, but if you want to be safe, your QR code should be at least .8 inches x .8 inches. The printable area on the Composite Poker Chips is 1.3 inches and about 1.1 inches for the Clay Poker Chips so the QR code should take up the majority of the chip's designable area.

Optimizing QR Code Density for Better Scanning

QR codes are incredibly useful, but they can be tricky when it comes to printing them on small items like poker chips. As we've noted, the density of the QR code—how close the dots are to each other—can make a big difference in scan-ability, especially at small sizes.

Why Density Matters

More data in a QR code means a denser pattern. This is because a QR code must incorporate more dots (or "modules") to encode the information. While our high-resolution 900 DPI printing capability allows us to print very small dots, the physical closeness of these dots can exceed the resolving power of some smartphone cameras, making the QR code hard to scan.

Solutions to Reduce QR Code Density

Reduce the amount of data: Simplify the information you encode. For example, instead of including full contact details in a VCARD (like address, multiple phone numbers, emails, and titles), consider only including a name, one phone number, and an email address.

This VCARD qr code on the right, for example, will just barely scan on a poker chip.

Increase the error correction level: This adds more error correction data to the QR code, which can sometimes simplify the overall pattern, making it easier to scan. However, this can also make the QR code slightly larger.
Adjust the QR code's physical size: If space allows, increasing the size of the QR code can reduce density issues. Our experience suggests that .8 inches is a practical minimum size for reliable scanning on most devices.

Can I Rush my custom order?

We are committed to delivering your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. When you buy from us you can choose Standard Shipping, Rush, or Super Rush.

For example (shipping to 98686, cart is $180, and orders is placed at 1:48pm on Thursday March 26th):

We're located in Centennial, Colorado just south of Denver. So in this case, I have purposely chosen a zip code far away from us in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State to show the contrast in all 3 options.

Standard Shipping: it is estimating that it will take a full 5 days of transit. Additionally, the system is estimating 4 Days of Production Time. So we're looking at 9 business days until the items arrive. If it's Thursday, March 26th then that would be Friday (count day 1), Monday (count day 2), Tuesday (3), Wednesday (4), Thursday (5), Friday (6), Monday (7), Tuesday (8), Wednesday (9) ... which is Wed, Apr 8.

Rush Shipping: 2 Production Days + 2 Air Travel Days = 4 total days, arrives Apr 1

Super Rush: 1 Production Day + 2 Air Travel Days = 3 total days, arrives Tue Mar 31.

Please note that transit times cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we provide an Estimated Delivery Date, which is our best approximation based on average shipping and production times. We do guarantee to ship all Rush and Super Rush orders on time though so 98% of the time those will arrive on time. Do not, however, rely on Standard Shipping to be that accurate because Rush and Super Rush orders take priority and can push Standard Shipping orders from 4 Production Days a few days.
