What makes a magnetic chip
Magnetic chips are our composite chip with a magnet built into the core — the same large print area and 8 Spot edge, but it sticks to a fridge, a whiteboard or a filing cabinet. They're a favorite for save-the-dates, promo giveaways and anything meant to stay in sight.
Every chip is printed direct-to-chip in Centennial, Colorado and sealed with a UV coating, so the artwork is part of the chip rather than a sticker on top of it.

It was easy to make, they look great. My only beef is that they are not a bit more magnetic. I can see that for use as an actual poker chip you don’t want too much more “stick”, but when used for marketing or to hang things on a magnetic board they are essentially not magnetic.

What do these magnetic poker chips stick to?
Our poker chips stick to ferromagnetic metals—materials with strong magnetic properties like iron and steel (and also nickel or cobalt). They won’t stick to aluminum, copper, brass, and most stainless steel. They stick nicely to refrigerators with steel doors like most of the magnets you're likely used to seeing around the house.
