Templates

Download optional templates to use in your favorite offline editor. As a general rule, we print at 600x900 DPI but any images 300 DPI or higher will print very well. The printable area for poker chips is small so that’s almost all images. Don’t use fonts lower than 7 points to keep everything readable.

How to use a template

  1. Download the PDF for your chip. Pick the chip style, then the color and edge pattern you plan to order — every template is that exact chip at print size.
  2. Open it in Illustrator or Photoshop. The page is the whole chip at 900 PPI. Keep your design inside the center printable area; the colored rim is the chip itself and isn’t printed on.
  3. Work at 300 DPI or higher. Vector artwork is ideal. Keep text at 7 points or larger so it stays readable on a chip.
  4. Export and upload. Save your artwork as a PNG or JPG and upload it in the online designer for that chip — you’ll see it on the chip in seconds, and a free proof follows every order.

Templates show the front of the chip. Design the back the same way — the online designer lets you upload different artwork for each side, or print the same design on both.
