How the dates are counted
We’re located in Centennial, Colorado just south of Denver. Every estimate is production days + transit days, counted in business days from the day you order. Orders placed before 2:00 PM Mountain start production that day; anything after starts the next business day, and holidays we’re closed are skipped. Proof approval within 24 hours keeps the clock on schedule.
For example, say it’s Thursday, March 26th and you’re shipping to Washington State — far from us, on purpose, to show the contrast between all three options.
Standard Shipping
The system estimates 4 days of production plus a full 5 days of ground transit, so we’re looking at 9 business days until the chips arrive: Friday (day 1), Monday (2), Tuesday (3), Wednesday (4), Thursday (5), Friday (6), Monday (7), Tuesday (8), Wednesday (9) — which is Wednesday, April 8th.
Rush Shipping
2 production days + 2 air travel days = 4 total days, arriving Wednesday, April 1st.
Super Rush
1 production day + 2 air travel days = 3 total days, arriving Tuesday, March 31st.
Alaska, Hawaii and US territories
Non-continental US addresses ship USPS Priority Mail for a flat $10; Rush and Super Rush aren’t offered there. Shipping outside the US? Contact us for a quote.
What’s guaranteed
Please note that transit times cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we provide an Estimated Delivery Date, which is our best approximation based on average shipping and production times. We do guarantee to ship all Rush and Super Rush orders on time though, so 98% of the time those will arrive on time. Do not, however, rely on Standard Shipping to be that accurate — Rush and Super Rush orders take priority and can push a Standard order from 4 production days to a few days more.
