What makes a composite chip
Composite chips are injection-molded from premium resins around a metal slug, then trimmed to final size in a dedicated machine, so every chip is dimensionally identical and stacks flat. The print area is the largest we offer, so detailed logos, photos and small type hold up well; it's why they're our go-to for promotional runs and events.
Every chip is printed direct-to-chip in Centennial, Colorado and sealed with a UV coating, so the artwork is part of the chip rather than a sticker on top of it. If you're buying chips to actually play with, our Macau clay chips are usually the better feel; for everything else, start here.

What is the minimum order quantity for Composite Poker Chips?
25 chips (one roll). We don't sell single custom sample chips. To see the materials first, order the Poker Chip Sample Pack of pre-printed chips; to check your design before it prints, use the free digital proof.
Can I change the color of the white edge spots?
No, the Composite Poker Chips all have white edge spots. We mass produce the blanks a few times a year only and this allows us to keep costs down and ship fast. Caveat: the Solid Edge Pattern has no spots at all.
What exactly is your 'Composite' material?
Our composite chips feature injection-molded ABS formed around a metal core. The metal insert provides satisfying weight, while the durable ABS shell (the same material used in LEGO bricks) allows for detailed graphics and stands up to heavy use. These are the most common chips found in home games and many card rooms, offering solid performance and excellent value.

Yes, you can have a different design on each side and the price is the same.
Do Composite Poker Chips have a projective coating on them?
Yes, Composite Poker Chips are printed by default with a semi-gloss protective coating.
What is the Designable/Printable Area of Composite Poker Chips?
Our Composite Poker Chips are 40mm in diameter. The printable area is 32mm (80% of the chip). Your designs are printed on that 32mm area.
Are these just poker chips with stickers attached to them?
Nope. We print directly to the chips and add a protective coating to them.
What is the printable area of the 2" Oversized Composite Poker Chip?
The 2" Oversized chip is 50mm (about 1.97") across, and the printed inlay is a 40mm (about 1.57") circle in the centre. Artwork is printed inside that circle only, so design to a round layout: anything outside the circle is trimmed. A square image can be used, but to keep all four corners it has to fit inside the circle, which means about 28mm (1.1") per side. Keep text and logos a little inside the edge of the circle so nothing crowds the trim.
