As always, the chips look very nice. However, for the second year in a row I ordered chips with a plain black edge, and was even told by a chiplab representative that the black chips were available. But, again, for the second year in a row, the black edge chips were not available and I have to settle for a lighter edge in order to get the chips in time. Not good.

Cons: design tool difficult to use, case does not fit the chips quite right. Pros: able to get the design I envisioned, chips are quite good. Recommend the chips, prefer a better storage solution than the case.

Generally happy with them however the design wasn't printed centrally on most of the chips, feels a little lazy to be honest. Would still order again though.
This is a review for the chiplab.com "custom clay chips". I bought 1100 custom "clay" chips and am generally happy with them. I think they are well made, and the turn-around time was amazingly fast. I also think the chips are a very good value for the price. However, I do want to point out a few things I was not satisfied with and hopefully this will help other buyers make a decision. 1. These chips have a metal insert inside the "clay". I assumed they would be a solid clay material, but I realized they were not when one of them stuck to lid of my laptop which has magnets. I really think this should be disclosed in the description. This would have been a deal breaker for me, and I would NOT have purchased if I knew this...just my personal preference. 2. The yellow color is really a dark mustard color and does not match the color represented in the design images. I think they should show some real images and not just the "cartoon" images. 3. (minor) The website is very buggy, but customer service was helpful with the questions I had. 4. (minor) The trays I ordered are the correct size, but the chips are still loose in the rack...not a big deal, you can't fit 21 in a slot, but just barely. Other comments: - I cleaned and rubbed down all the chips with mineral oil to make get rid of the chalky newness and make the colors a bit brighter. - I got the matte finish over the custom image, but I now think I would have preferred glossy. The matte finish makes the image a little blurry in my opinion - The denomination numbers on my design turned out really small, so make sure you are aware of the actual size of the image. - The chips are heavy (probably due to the metal insert), makes it a little hard to shuffle, but not really a big deal.
Error in the order
After opening more boxs the quality of clarity of the chips dropped, several had discoloration and different colors mixed on the blue. Overall not impressed with Your quality control.
The delivery toma was great but the quality of the print wasn’t. The logo I had placed noticeably off.
Design process was a little daunting for a neophyte like me, consequently the finished product was not to my liking.
The clay chips are a bit too light, the ceramics already have denominations which I cannot change. I appreciate the samples and I hope your business does well.

Quality is excellent. I will be ordering more, but someone dropped the ball. So it did not get shipped and received as promised.
While you completed the job as we requested I feel like your technician should of seen how the online image compared to the actual product produced a product that was difficult to read. Your site states that you carefully review all orders but I think you guys should of engaged us about how the chips were turning out. They are very hard to read. You should of suggested a black font for better viewing.
Chips were fine, but they changed my wooden box to metal box without telling me. Then I called and said they ran out and wouldn't be getting any wooded in anymore. It's been over a week and have my been refunded my money for the box.
I had ordered my chips when I did not receive them on the given date of arrival I had called chip lab directly. They had informed me that my order was pushed back because of someone that had paid for rush ordering (which is perfectly understandable and I was ok with) for my inconvenience I was given 10% off my next order and was told that I should see my chips within 5 business days. Once again I did not see my chips in the given time I had called back and was told that the chips had been printed but had not been sent out for a unknown reason the support gentleman was very helpful and got the chips to me in 2 days!! the reason for the 3 stars is just the lack of communication from chip lab as I was very inconvenienced by not receiving my chips on time and was unable to give them out as marketing tokens for my twitch channel as I was playing live poker in a 2 week trip to different casinos. --Jacob Huston

The chip itself was good, but the printing wasn't quite the quality we anticipated. The color appeared to be a little washed-out.
