I have been doing business with Chiplab for 8 years and have been very happy with support, delivery, and especially the quality of their composite chips. This year I ordered the aluminum coins for a very special occasion and was disappointed with all aspects of the transaction. Customer support was hard to get. No one ever answered the phone or returned my phone calls. I did eventually get a few emails from a different part of the USA than where Chiplab is located, and she helped me work through some issues but it took an excessive amount of time to get things done. As a result of that, and production issues at the factory, the coins were delivered one day before they were to be given out. Therefore there was no time to address the quality issues I found with the coins. Some of the coins had dented/damaged edges. It looked as though they were dumped into a container. Some of the coins had damaged graphics. It looked as though the protective coating had been missed or there was an adhesion problem between the coin and the printing.

Composite Poker Chips

This is my 3rd order with Chiplab. The 1st and second orders were of excellent quality. Had a nice feel and a good weight to it. In this last order, the chip was much lighter and of a lower quality, and the print quality was also substandard compared to what I received previously. I use these as marketing tools when I play golf—giving them away so they can use and remember my company. I am almost embarrassed at giving these to potential customers. Will have to look for a new company moving forward. I wish that were not the case, but if the quality is not up to par, I have little choice but to switch vendors.

Composite Poker Chips

I have screenshots from when I built the chips and they are different than what I was sent... somethings moved somehow from when I hit submit to printing... had to give out 125 messed up chips at an event, embarrassing for my organization

Composite Poker Chips

The background colors on this came out darker in real life than is shown during the design, blending the background with the writing

Clay Poker Chips

Would not recommend. I order a batch of 50 chips and they were all loose in the box. Over 20% of them had the ink chipped away from banging into each other during shipping. Customer support was really good and they sent out replacements, but I ran into the same issue with that batch. That time over 50% were damaged. Going with another vendor for my next batch. Too bad because the chips are beautiful. But with the ink being able to be so easily damaged, don't expect much use from them. @Emmon - there’s some kind of adhesion/bonding issue going on here and we’re sending you new chips on Monday that are fixed. We’re really sorry about this.

Composite Poker Chips

We ordered chips for a marketing promotion and the delivery date was set for 4-5 days before we needed the product. Due to "production issues" the product was not received in time for our promotion. We were left scrambling to find a replacement last minute. If there are production issues, notifying the customer of delay should be priority.

Back side image to dark. Image quality is extremely different from what you see online when making chip.

Poker Chip Sample Pack

On many of the chips, the labels were damaged

Because of the glue adhering it to the sample page. When I pulled the chip off the paper, the custom printed label came off or had the printing ripped off.

Why the glue?!

I wanted to feel the chips in my hand but they were extremely difficult to remove from the cardboard paper stock due to the glob of glue on the back of each chip. Some inserts were pulled off during the removal process. Very annoying.

Still a solid chip but I made a mistake with the design scheme color and it doesn't quite match the idea I had in mind. Because of the white stripe around the chip, now that I can physically see the product, I feel it would have been better if the color schemes were reversed (no white stripe around the chip). I didn't know you had this option until I saw it on one of the sample chips and one of them had a different color stripe (the purple and green one). I don't know what to do as I already have the chips and shipping it back would cost more than the chips itself.

I submitted a login number and password for my purchase Mid May. I contacted a girl named AMY who assured me that this chips would arrive by the needed golf date of June 7th. It arrived today 6/12 past the anniversary needed dinner date! Very disappointed in the delivery date delay. I cannot deliver these awards as the participants are scattered all over the states! Joe

Clay Poker Chips

21 days to get chips and when I got them the top of the box broke free and chips were all over the inside of the shipping box. You sent 50 chips in a box made for 100 and they broke free and scattered. I would highly recommend putting chips in the proper box or a sealed tube. So now the chips are rubbing on everything and not making the journey to my house very well. I think there is much room for improvement.

Gunmetal Poker Chip Case

ChipLab was very helpful during

ChipLab was very helpful during the ordering process and now silent as I have issue with the product received. First, the $50 case was received with two dents. Second, the sample chip quality is much better than what I received. The inlay is larger and when pressed, there is a small, raised ridge which makes the chips look cheap. Nothing like the sample. I've reached out twice with no response, so maybe this review might get some attention. At them moment, I would not purchase again.

This was my second order through Chiplab. The printing was blurry compared to my first order unfortunately.

Composite Poker Chips

We placed a smaller order before placing our large order to make sure things printed well. We noticed that the font was wrong on our chips. We were told that is was because we did not outline the text on the design. We outlined the text, resubmitted our design for the larger order, and asked our rep to please check the order when it prints. But the entire order still came back the with wrong font.

I think the product could be great however the end product was not as designed. The pictures and logos turned out great but the lettering was not legible and was blended into the side of every chip. It did not arrive like the design depicted online and on the chip lab order form that arrived with the product.
