It would be great to have a holographic image overlay option! That would make the chips really pop! We plan on ordering more if you’re able to provide that option. We would understand the price increase. However, you guys delivered right on time! Thank you!
good, but noticeable color bleed
Let me begin by saying customer service was excellent, but I was really disappointed with the quality of the chips. The chip itself was a good heavy chip, but the actual print on the chips was poor quality, a lot of smudges and bleeding. On some of the chips, the lettering was illegible.
The players are very unhappy with the chips. The look of them are nice but you can’t stack more than about 15 and they fall over. They are too slippery.
When I received the chips a few weeks ago, I opened one box and pulled one out and loved it. After inspecting more of them, many have black specs under the coating and that's disappointing. It may seem to be a little problem but these are for a collectors convention and these folks will scrutinize them closely and be turned off by the imperfections. Another chip has an enormously thick layer of the sealer and you can barely see the design through it. On the whole 43 of 300 chips have the unwanted, unremoveable black specs on them. That's nearly 15% of the order. If it was just a few, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it. On the ones that are perfect, I do love them.
Chips look great as usual. But it looks like you misplaced my order again. Shipped on the day it was supposed to arrive only because I inquired earlier that day. Whomever read my inquiry never responded to it...that was a first.

I can understand that the quality of such a detailed image was not totally clear. I do like them though.
The chips themselves are outstanding. In my design, I didn’t know that the email address would not be legible to a normal eye. It is very tiny print. Is there a way that when a customer submits an order, and your graphic person sees it, they could call the customer and let them know how small the print would be and help them with a re-design. I feel like I’m not going to be able to use these clay chips now.
Clay composite chips are very light weight, and too thick. The matte color doesn't compare to the previewed order.
I love the chips. And this is my 3rd order. But the email address is way too small to read. I wish someone printing them would notice that and contact the customer and work on a re design. Its so small i dont even think i can use them.
wish I could have tuned the art better but the web-based tool is hard to use (chrome). very happy with the delivery time and quality otherwise.
I have ordered chips previously and never had a problem with quality or appearance of photo used on back of chip. The chips I received had the picture I wanted but due to background on photo the words on the back and picture are hard to make out. Would have been nice to see issues before ordering or to be notified that your quality department didn’t think picture was adequate. On line design tools needs to give more accurate proof.

The chips are high quality and feel good. However, mine didn't come out nearly as clear as the comp I put together on the website. I also had an issue with shipping. My invoice said the estimated delivery date was August 2nd. I called them to check up on the 5th and my chips hadn't even shipped yet. They made it right by expediting shipping and I ended up receiving them before my event, but still. How can you give an estimated delivery date of 8/2 and not ship them until 8/5? All and all, my experience with chiplab.com was just okay. That's why I can only give them an okay rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
Print quality on the chips is great, however, the one side is just slightly off center. Compared it with the design, and alignment didn’t match the original design. The actually quality of the print impressed me, though.
