Quite a well-built case
Pleasantly surprised to receive a well-built and padded case. Nice color and larger handle. What I really wanted was a case to hold 200 chips, but this case does it by me using the center section which is intended for card decks and dice- not so well, but doable. One thing though, typical chip cases are about 2 1/2" thick and this one is about 4" thick, so would prefer if it was thinner.
Quite a well-built case
Pleasantly pleased by seeing how well-built this case is, including the padding on the inside. However, whereas the typically chip cases are about 2 1/2" thick, this bad boy is about 4" thick so not too happy about it being bigger. OTOH, most cases are silvery, and this one is gunmetal which I like. Also has a nice study thick handle.

Again .. the printing was a bit dark .. but that can be adjusted on next order. Using clay gives the chip extra weight and "gravitas"
good first copy and the price let me have a trial batch.
Great samples once out back together
I received the samples in great time and enjoyed the chip quality. I had to rearrange the samples however because they had detached from the adhesive.
Quick turn-around and a very reasonable price! My only issue is that the art-work came out pretty dark
The quality of the chips is excellent and I received the product quickly. The website is glitchy though and this made doing a custom order somewhat difficult.
The sample pack was great, except...
You might want to consider a bit stronger glue. They tend to separate from the cardboard during shipping. I had to do an analysis to sort it out. Possible, but a bit tricky. Otherwise, great to get actual examples!! Thanks
I think you site was having issues, as I struggled with this design & on side has a "5" at the bottom & the other side has a "1" at the bottom! When I first designed this chip, it kept reverting the back side to a "1" at the bottom. I thought the correct was saved, but evidentially it wasn't. Partially my fault as I didn't verify a 3rd time before ordering, and partially your fault for mot confirming the difference via email or phone call. FROM CSR: reaching out to you now to fix this. We will reprint these tomorrow 2/27 and express them to you.
Good representation of product - good as well as bad.
The sample pack served its purpose well and provided the information needed (good and bad) to finalize my order. There were 4 samples of composite chips and 3 clay chips which allows you to compare the feel, appearance and sound of each type. It also allows you to compare the printable area of each type as well as the print quality. Unfortunately the print on 2 of the clay samples did not hold up well and was damaged by the adhesive used to secure the samples to the mailing media. Not sure if that was indicative of inferior printing methods specific to these two types but needless to say I did not order either of those.
I recently purchased 1500 poker chips and decided to try the optional coating option available. While the idea sounded appealing at first, in hindsight, I wish I had stuck with the traditional clay chips. The coating gives the chips a plastic appearance that lacks the authentic feel and classic vibe of traditional clay chips. For me, a big part of the poker experience is the tactile sensation and iconic look of clay chips clinking together on the table. Unfortunately, the coating detracts from that experience, compromising the overall aesthetics and feel. If you're considering purchasing poker chips, I strongly recommend opting for the classic clay without the additional coating. It maintains the authenticity and timeless quality that poker enthusiasts appreciate. Save the extra cost and go with the traditional look and feel. It's the way to go for anyone who values a genuine poker experience!
Support when placing an order and deciding on final design was more than forthcoming, showed patience and understanding for requested changes. Support deserves 15 out of 10. Sadly the same can not be said about the end result. Clay chips, while carefully packed, came with a bit of a sloppy finish on the rim (as if the color didn't dry appropriately and got smudged over the rim of the chip) while some chips have parts (albeit small) where color didn't stick at all. Maybe the plastic ones will be better.
Chips came quickly, nice quality. Some had design smeared or chipped. They were just loose in a box when shipped and I think that caused some of the damage.
Chips arrived in a timely manner, exactly how I expected them to look and feel. The only issue I experienced was with the design tool itself, which made it difficult for me to properly align my text and fit my design the way I wanted it to look. Because of my struggles with the designer the chips have a little bit of asymmetry with the text. I think in future orders I would simply get the proofs ahead of time to make sure that my designs are complete and exactly what I want. I'm still very pleased with the quick turnaround and accuracy of the final product TO the design studio's preview.
The actual colors did not match as well as the image on my phone. Not a deal breaker but definitely need to pay closer attention to the colors
Ordering the chips were very easy. The website designer had a few frustrating features that didn't work quite as intended. It took a little bit of tinkering to get it to do what I wanted. Things like image sizing, text placement, and layers didn't always work smoothly and I had to recreate what I've done multiple times. The product itself was delivered within the estimated time and packed well. Chips felt good but has an ashy haze to the color. It looks like the chips were just taken off the assembly line and packed right away. Edges are pretty sharp and the chip color has a raw look to them. I'm trying to figure out if I can polish them or something. I'm hoping the edges will wear down a little as the chips get used. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the chips and free shipping. Also, quoted prices already included tax so nothing was added on at the end (good in my opinion). If the chips came "shined" up or a little more rounded on the edges I would have given a full 5 stars. They may have come that way because of the type of chip I ordered as well. (Clay, 3-toned inlay).
They turned out good but the picture is a little bit blurry. The QR code still works great, they look good and only one of them had a blemish on it so overall, I’m happy. But the printing could’ve been clearer… that could be the online app file upload part or it could be their printing I don’t know. Also I have some friends that have ordered 25 quantities or small quantities and they didn’t put any packaging in the box so by the time they arrived, they were all chipped from bouncing around in the box. Luckily, I did not have that problem. Not a huge amount of filler but just enough they stayed in a stack during transport.
The print looks nice, though a bit more details could have been better for my specific project. Also the tool to center my logo was a bit hard to use, I uploaded a square, and I had to change the center on the website so my logo could be centered. It's not perfect but I'm very happy of the result. I'm thinking of using Chiplab to create my business card on a chip.
Had about 15/75 show up with the design chipped up and flaking off. But over all the rest were beautiful.
